“Argentina evaded its payment obligations under the Warrants in 2014 (whose breach was the subject of English sentences) and subsequently breached their restructured bonds (the other component of the consideration for restructuring) in 2020”the holders said through a statement signed by the legal firm Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan.
“After having faced a triple breach by previous governments, Warrants holders currently face a fourth breach, this time by the administration (of President Javier) Milei,” added the statement.
