In the wealthiest district of Germany, the healthiest employees obviously also live: With an average of 14.6 illnesses per year, workers from the Upper Bavarian district of Starnberg are missing from the gates of Munich in a nationwide comparison at work due to illness. This was announced by the BKK roof association and the Bavarian State Association of Company Hospital.

On the German average, the employees are reported sick to 22.3 days a year. The Salzlandkreis in Saxony-Anhalt recorded the longest absenteeism with 32.5 days.

Starnberg regularly occupies top positions for purchasing power and income analyzes. The IW Cologne estimated the regional purchasing power in the Upper Bavarian district at the end of last year at 35,392 euros per inhabitant, the highest in Germany.
