This variation in the Wholesale Domestic Price Index (IPIM) in the first month of the year is a consequence of the rise of 3.9% in national products and 2.2% in imported products, specified the Indec in its monthly report.
On the other hand, The general level of the Wholesale Basic Domestic Price Index (IPIB) showed an increase of 4.1% in the same period due to the rise of 4.3% in “National Products” and 2.2% in ” Imported products”.
Also, the general level of The Basic Producer Price Index (PPI) registered an increase of 4.5% in the same period, as a consequence of the rise of 7.9% in “Primary Products” and 3.1% in “Manufactured and electric power”.

While, the 3.2% rise in the general level of the Construction Cost Index (CCI) in Greater Buenos Aires corresponding to January 2022 compared to the previous month is a consequence of the 3.5% rise in the “Materials” chapter , 3.0% in the “Manpower” chapter and 3.1% in the “General expenses” chapter.
In the interannual comparison, the IPIM registers an increase of 48.7%; the IPIB, an increase of 48.2%; and the IPP, a rise of 47.2%; while the ICC verified an increase of 49.2%.
