The Federal Regional Infrastructure Fiduciary Fund had been created in 1997 in order to attend the provinces and the National State in the financing of economic and social infrastructure works. Faced with this diagnosis, the Executive considered that its continuity was not convenient and resolved its closure, prioritizing a more rational and efficient application of public resources. Only $ 70 million of $ 26,000 was used available.

2. National Fund Management Fund

Between 2022 and 2023 they were transferred to the Trust $ 26,000 million, but only $ 70 million were effectively used in the specific purpose of the fund. They follow it warned of strategic planning, few controls on investments, undue hiring and serious deficiencies in administrative processes.

Despite the dissolution of the trust, The Federal Fire Management System – as a public policy in the background – will continue in force. To do this, the mandatory contribution of the 3 ‰ of the insurance premiums, which will be directly administered by the Ministry of Security, under the principles of Law 24,156, which regulates the financial administration of the National State.

3. National Productive Development Fund (FONDEP)

Finally, the National Productive Development Fund (FONDEP) —This called anchonar – was eliminated after an irregular and poor management was detected. The SIGEN observed that the funds were allocated to temporary investments without link with the established purposes, in addition to pointing out delays and uncollectibility in the recovery of loans, and serious failures in the registration and control of operations.

With these decisions, the National Government continues to advance in its State reorganization plan. “These measures are part of a policy that seeks transparent, agile and effective public management, in which each taxpayer’s weight is well used,” said the official statement.
