Sailors threaten to Singapore danger

“The increasing incidents on a shipping route that is so important for world trade are extremely worrying,” said ICC General Secretary, Oliver Wieck. Wieck did not comment on the reasons for the development.

The security situation of shipping has deteriorated worldwide: 90 attacks and tried attacks counted the IMB in the first half of the year. In 79 cases, pirates were entered by ships. “The risk of crews remains high,” says the message. In the same period last year there were a total of 60 attacks and tried attacks.
