The index prepared by INDEC based on Greater Buenos Aires accumulates a variation of 8.8% so far this year.

The cost of construction slowed to 1.3% in June and accumulated a variation of 8.8% so far this year and 31% at the year -on -year level with respect to the same month last year, being below inflation, which was 1.6%.

Main variations for construction materials

In the breakdown of work items, the largest variation above June inflation were those of metal carpentry and blacksmiths, with 4.4%, followed by elevators with 2.9%and the electrical installation with 2.4%.

On the other hand, the costs of the earth movement (+1.1%), masonry (+1.1%), structure (+1.0%), sanitary and fire installation (+1.0%), wood carpentry (+0.8%) and gas installation (+0.7%).
