The Provincial Government, which meets a key role in this new stage, concluded the signing of this important agreement that also contemplates the participation of the project financing banks

The signature of the memorando was attended by the Nation’s Cabinet Chief, Guillermo Francos; the governor of the province of Santa Cruz, Claudio Vidal and representatives of ENARSA and the companies that make up the UTE (Gezhouba, Eling Energía, Hidrocuyo)
The dam that had been paralyzed during the previous national government, due to lack of agreements, may resume its execution from the next cycle of works, once the winter is finished.
As confirmed from Enarsa, a first outlay of funds has already been completed to cover the salaries owed to workers who still remain on the property.
From this firm, a new stage opens. Two new disbursements remain and the realization of some technical adjustments, but the fundamental thing is that the work continues and already has a reset date.
Governor Claudio Vidal expressed his satisfaction for this progress: “It is great news for Santa Cruz. The dams always meant genuine work, economic growth for nearby towns and energy sovereignty for the entire region. This agreement is the result of serious and persistent efforts. We are fulfilling and we will continue to fight for each work that means development for our province”
With this reactivation, one of the most important infrastructure works in the country is recovered, within the framework of a complex national context, and with a clear commitment of the provincial government to continue betting on work, production and long -term energy planning.
