The first loan, by U $ 800 millionis intended to support Tax reforms that improve the efficiency and equity of the system, with the elimination of Exemptions and distortive taxesand a simplification of the processes for the VAT and Personal gains.
It also seeks to optimize the public spendingthrough a better assignment of subsidies to services as energy and water, improvements in programs of Social assistance and a major Budget transparency.

The second loan, of U $ 400 millionwill accompany a set of measures to Reduce regulatory obstaclesincrease the participation of Private sector and expedite the foreign trade.
Among the reforms, the repeal or modification of 700 obsolete regulations and the implementation of a Digital platform To report Bureaucratic obstacleswho hopes to receive more than 12,000 complaints around 2027.
According to IDB estimates, these measures will benefit some 500,000 companiesby simplifying processes and enabling access to new markets. A positive impact on 24,000 importers and 9,500 exportersbased on greater efficiency and transparency in procedures.
Both loans have a Term of 20 yearsa 5.5 -year grace period and a variable rate based on the Sof. This disbursement is part of the U $ 10,000 million that the IDB committed for Argentina in April, and is articulated with the assistance of the IMP and the World Bankin line with the objectives of Macroeconomic stabilization and productive transformation of the country.

The authorization to take new debt by the Government arrives hours after the signing of the Decree 482/2025which authorizes the Argentine Republic to subscribe another loan with the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (BIRF) part of the World Bank Group.
The amount to be subscribed is U $ 230 million and will be aimed at financing the project “Promote better jobs with integrated training and employment programs”. The measure was formalized on Monday, July 21 and also carries the signatures of Milei, of the Chief of Cabinet, Guillermo Francosand the Minister of Economy, Luis Caputo.
