Deputy Prime Minister Victoria Abramchenko (who oversees the Siberian Federal District) instructed the Ministry of Labor, the Ministry of Finance and the state-owned company Dom.RF to develop a program with a subsidized interest rate from the federal budget, Izvestia has a copy of the order.
The document states that the terms of the program should exclude competition for labor resources from the Far Eastern Federal District.
The Ministry of Finance told Izvestia that the issue was being studied and worked out.
Dom.RF is participating in the development of a preferential Siberian mortgage as a co-executor, Aleksey Nidens, managing director of the state-owned company, told Izvestia.
The Development Institute is the operator of the majority of state mortgage programs, which have already received support for more than a million families, he explained. Proposals are currently being prepared on the parameters of the “Siberian” mortgage, various ideas are being considered, said Alexei Nidens.
“The Deputy Prime Minister instructed the departments to work out the creation of preferential mortgages for specialists who will move to live and work in the regions of the Siberian District. The proposal is related to the Siberian development strategy being prepared by the government and the planned launch of new investment projects in the Siberian Federal District, ”Marta Galicheva, a representative of Deputy Prime Minister Victoria Abramchenko, told Izvestia.
The key task is to realize the economic potential of the regions and improve the quality of life of people, create conditions for attracting and retaining the population of Siberia, she stressed.
