Brew almost twice as much non -alcoholic beer
Beer without alcohol goes better with a health -oriented lifestyle. The brewers can thus make up part of their sales losses.
Alcohol -free beer is becoming increasingly popular in Germany. Last year, 579 million liters were produced almost twice as much as ten years earlier, as the Federal Statistical Office reported. Alcohol -reduced mixed drinks such as cyclists have also increased since 2014, if only by 9.3 percent to 364 million liters.
The production of alcoholic beer, on the other hand, has been significantly declining: 7.2 billion liters meant a decline of 14.0 percent since 2014. However, this is still more than twelve of the alcohol -free beer amount.
