Minister of Economics Reiche has triggered a lot of criticism with a push of the state funding for new solar systems. The coalition partner is also positioned.

In the black and red coalition, there is a dispute over the future state funding of small solar systems. Nina Scheer, energy policy spokeswoman for the SPD parliamentary group, rejected statements by Federal Minister of Economics Katherina Reiche (CDU), new small solar systems no longer need funding. Scheer referred to the coalition agreement. It was not agreed to stop solar energy promotion in parts. “On the contrary: the coalition has agreed to make private households into players in their own energy supply.”

Reiche had said the “Augsburger Allgemeine”, new, small PV systems already calculated on the market and did not require any funding. The prices for systems and memory have dropped significantly. However, the CDU politician does not want to change anything about the feed-in tariff for existing solar systems with reference to existing protection. There was a lot of criticism of industry associations.

Scheer said that it would be undisputed that further measures need to advance in network integration, network connections and cross -sectoral use of renewable energies. We need more flexibility, memory, more effective network utilization and a significant expansion of current, i.e. thrown away from today. “All of this also provides the coalition agreement.
