The index prepared by INDEC based on Greater Buenos Aires accumulates a 10.9% variation so far this year.
The cost of construction accelerated 1.6% in July and accumulated a 10.9% variation so far this year and 31% at the year -on -year level with respect to the same month last year. The data was below inflation, which was 1.9%.

This result arises as a consequence of 1.5% increases in the chapter “Materials”1.7% in the chapter “Labour” and 1.7% in the chapter “Overheads”.


Main variations for construction materials
The item that uploaded the most was elevators (+4.7%), followed by Earth movement (+4.1%) e electrical installation (+2.2%). Other items with moderate rises: masonry and wood carpentry (+1.7%), paint (+1.1%) and other works (+1.3%). The lowest increases were in metallic carpentry (+0.1%), plaster (+0.4%), and glass (+0.4%).
As for the materials, The highest increases were in lighting artifacts and electric goalkeepers (+6.4%), cables and medium and low voltage conductors (+5.9%) and electrical control devices (+4.9%). A countermarket, there were slight low in metal products and glass items.
As for the labor, the wage saved rose 1.8% and the subcontractors increased 0.8%. Finally, in rental services, the greatest increase was in Dump container (+8.7%), followed by trucks (+3.1%) and Dump truck (+2.7%).
