Former bank manager Olearius had gone on the offensive against the former chief investigator in the Cum-Ex scandal. But the Bonn public prosecutor sees no basis for this.
No investigations are initiated against the former CUM-EX investigator Anne Brorhilker. There are no clues for this, said a spokesman for the Bonn public prosecutor. The advertisers have already lodged a complaint against this decision, which the Cologne General Prosecutor’s Office is now examining, the spokesman said. The “Kölnische Rundschau” had previously reported.
Lawyers of former bank manager Christian Olearius had filed a criminal complaint against the former chief prosecutor Brorhilker. In it, they accused them of “deliberately and deliberately incomplete and false facts to have made their charges against former employees of Warburg Bank”. The Bonn public prosecutor did not see any suspicion. “We need specific indications for the existence of a crime, and we have not seen them,” said the spokesman.
The former head of Hamburg’s private bank MM Warburg, Christian Olearius, was involved in the scandal about Cum-Ex share business, and the state was valued by a total of at least ten billion euros. The lawsuit against Olearius was discontinued last year due to inability to negotiate – the over 80 -year -old was healthy, according to an expert opinion. There was no acquittal or guilty verdict. Olearius had been accused of particularly severe tax fraud. He had asserted his innocence.
