Within the framework of his panel participation together with referents from other multilateral organizations, Asinelli stressed that Latin America and the Caribbean “have two great strengths that are very well marked, which differentiate it from other parts of the world: in principle, which, beyond internal problems insecurity, is a region of peace, and that is not a minor fact, in a world that has more than 50 military conflicts between countries. As for Argentina, Asinelli stressed the financing of CAF for the construction of the Néstor Kirchner gas pipeline for an amount of 540 million dollars “that will allow Argentina not only to transport gas internally, but when the entire complex is finished, to be able to export”, while highlighting the support for social projects such as the feeding card, for a global sum of USD 700 million provincial and private sector.
Finally, he highlighted the use of technology for the reduction of social gaps. “The use of artificial intelligence, taking advantage of the strength of the Argentine scientific-technological system, can be an opportunity to generate more competitiveness and improve educational and health conditions,” he concluded.
