Court raises insolvency proceedings for fashion chain

The fashion chain Sinn has already survived several bankruptcies. So now. 1,500 employees keep their jobs.
The district court of Hagen has lifted the insolvency proceedings for the fashion chain. The court announced this. The fashion house was successfully restructured, reported a spokesman for the insolvency administrator Michael Mönig.
At the end of April, the creditors had decided on a takeover offer from the previous owner Isabella Goebel at a meeting. It provided for the preservation of all 34 locations with all 1,500 employees. Around 75 of which work in the headquarters in Hagen in Westphalia.
In August 2024, the fashion company initially applied for bankruptcy in self -administration. The procedure was later changed to conventional insolvency proceedings. When applying in the summer of 2024, there were 41 meaning fashion houses.
Sinn fashion houses, especially in medium-sized cities
With its currently 34 fashion houses, meaning is represented in several federal states, especially in medium -sized cities. 22 of them are located in North Rhine-Westphalia. Finally, Sinn GmbH generated sales of 240 million euros.
The fashion retailer had already slipped into bankruptcy in 2020. Before that, the chain under the name Sinnleffer had already filed for bankruptcy in 2008 and 2016.
