In August, Ukrainian drones damaged the oil pipeline Druschba in the Russian area. The campaign also has consequences for the large refinery in Brandenburg.
According to Rosneft Germany, a Ukrainian attack on the Druschba pipeline in Russia has also temporarily affected the oil delivery to the refinery PCK in Brandenburg. After repairing the damage to the management, the inflow would normalize at the end of this week, spokesman Burkhard Woelki told the German Press Agency. Fancy quantities would be made up for. “The oil is running again,” said Woelki.
PCK in Schwedt on the Oder no longer obtains Russian oil, but receives oil from Kazakhstan in transit over the pipeline. Ukraine attacked the Unetcha pumping station in the West Russian area of Brjansk on August 21. Hungary then reported a failure of the deliveries. The effects on PCK initially remained open at the time.
According to Woelki, Rosneft Germany imports 120,000 tons of oil from Kazakhstan per month. The daughter of the largest oil company in Russia – co -owner and operator of PCK – has been under federal administration since 2022 because of the Moscow War of Agency against Ukraine.
This trust management has been arranged for six months in the past and runs until September 10th. The Federal Ministry of Economics is expected to extend the measure.
Woelki also said his company was negotiating with Kazakhstan about an extension and a possible expansion of the oil deliveries beyond the end of 2025 when the current contracts expire. “We are in good conversations,” said the spokesman.
