The Government approved payments for more than $ 660 million to transport companies from the Metropolitan Region

Resolutions 53/2025 and 54/2025, published today in the Official Gazette, details the settlements corresponding to December 2023 and January 2024 of the Integrated Automotive Transportation System (SISTAU), including compensations for “Social Attribute” and “Integrated Ticket”.

According to resolutions 53/2025 and 54/2025, published in the Official Gazette, compensation include the amounts by the Integrated Automotive Transportation System (SISTAU), the “Social Attribute” and the “Integrated Ticket”, aimed at guaranteeing the coverage of operational costs and maintaining tariff benefits for users with greater social vulnerability.

By December 2023, the total amount pending payment amounted to $ 263,816,581.66while by January 2024 he noticed $ 396,239,525.46adding more than $ 660 million in both periods. The resolutions instruct the National Directorate of Fiduciary Funds Management to execute the payments within five days of the publication of each measure, and to publish on the website of the Secretariat of Transportation the details of the credits for each company.

The resolutions ratify the methodology of calculation of the costs and average income of urban and suburban transport, including the region called Grand La Plata – Partidos de la Plata, Berisso and Ensenada -, as well as the payment of the so -called “Stimulus Award” to companies that present salary costs higher than the average of the Metropolitan Region.

These measures are framed in the current regulations that regulate the transport infrastructure system (SIT) and the trusts created to finance the tariff subsidies and compensation, with the aim of ensuring the continuity of the service and maintaining the benefits of the Single Electronic Ticket System (SUBE) for users.
