Elementary school children already understand the principle of this market. Perhaps it is the simplicity, the clarity: it works egalitarian and barrier -free.

Leonie Schwarz’s sales career started in Egestorf, Lüneburger Heide at the age of eight: “We sold apples from my grandpa on the sidewalk. Large for 20 cents, smaller ones for half – and even came into the newspaper.”
