The contract, published Monday in the Official Gazette, will finance the fourth phase of the Food Security Support Program in Argentina. The Ministry of Human Capital will be the executing agency of the initiative.

The measure was formalized by Decree 687/2025, signed by the President Javier Mileithe chief of cabinet Guillermo Francos and the Minister of Economy Luis Caputo. The text empowers the head of the Palace of Finance, the officials designated and the Secretary of Finance to sign the contract and complementary documentation.


The program will have Executing body to the Ministry of Human Capital, through the National Secretariat of Children, Adolescents and Family and the Secretariat of Legal and Administrative Coordination, which will be responsible for the Financial and Budget Administration.
As indicated in the text of the measure, the resources will be destined to sustain the feed and structured provision in four components: support for the benefit, external audit, unforeseen and BCIE commission.
The Central Bank concluded that the impact of the operation on the balance of payments will be “limited”, while the National Public Credit Office considered that the financing is more convenient than alternatives available in the market.
