The Ministry of Economy officialized on Tuesday the declaration of emergency and/or agricultural disaster in different constituencies of ten parties of the province of Buenos Aires affected by floods. The measure was established through Resolution 1450/2025 published in the Official Gazette and will run between May 1 and October 31 of this year.

The disposition includes agricultural and livestock farms of Hipólito Yrigoyen, General Alvear, General Viamonte, Las Flores, Chivilcoy, Junín, Roque Pérez, General Lamadrid, Chacabuco and Mountain. For these areas, the resolution also set on October 31 as the end date of the productive cycle.


The Agricultural Emergency Declaration
According to the provisions, producers who want to access the benefits provided for in Law 26,509 must submit a certificate issued by the provincial authority that accredits the affectation of their farms. In addition, the Province will send to the Executive Technical Secretariat of the National Commission of Emergencies and Agricultural Disasters the list of beneficiaries with the corresponding documentation.

Official Gazette
The standard instructs national, official and mixed banks, as well as the Customs Collection and Control Agency (ARCA), to implement the necessary measures so that the producers achieved access the tax and financial benefits provided for in the law. It also empowers the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries to conclude agreements for the execution of the measure.
