The Rosario Stock Exchange projected that up to 2Mt of soybeans could be shipped in October, which would round off a great quarter. The entity highlighted the influence of the conflict between China and the US.
The Rosario Stock Exchange (BCR) estimates that soybean exports for the August-October quarter will mark a historical maximum. The projections occur in the midst of the trade war between the US and China, which generates greater demand for Argentine beans by the Asian power.

According to provisional shipment data, in September soybean exports would have reached 1.8 million tons (Mt)record for the month in question. Likewise, there are already more than 900,000 tons scheduled to ship during the first half of October.

The BCR pointed out that this is “something atypical for this time of year” and predicted that throughout October up to 2 Mt of soybeans. “If these projections are met, or simply if the 1.1 Mt exported during this month are exceeded, the August – October 2025 quarter would be a record for bean exports,” he stated.
The entity explained that this reflects the effect that the trade conflict between the United States and China is having in this quarter, which “is not minor, since it is seasonally the period of greatest competitiveness for North American soybeans”. The oilseed continues to be the star of the market and it is the traction of external demand that allows (in addition to the impact of the temporary suspension of withholdings) to maintain these marketing levels,” he said.
