Through a provision published this Monday in the Official Gazette, the organization ordered the creation of the Public Integrity and Ethics Committee, replacing the one that operated under the former AFIP, and repealed a series of previous regulations linked to the matter.
The Customs Collection and Control Agency (ARCA)an organization that replaced the AFIP after its dissolution in October 2024, ordered the creation of the Public Integrity and Ethics Committeewith the aim of strengthening transparency and organizational culture in the field of tax and customs administration.

The measure was formalized through the Provision 216/2025published this Monday in the Official Gazette and signed by the executive director of the organization, Juan Alberto Pazo.

The new committee will be made up of Institutional Deputy General Director and the General Directors of Tax and Customs —or their representatives—, and will have as technical secretariat the Internal Audit Department. In addition, the operating regulations that will govern its activity were approved.
The provision grants a 60 day period so that the Secretariat of the Committee analyzes the current regulations on integrity and public ethics, proposes the necessary modifications and submits them for consideration by the body.
Repeal of previous provisions
In parallel, the resolution repeals and repeals a series of provisions and instructions previously issued by the former Federal Administration of Public Revenues (AFIP)including the rules that the previous ethics committee had created in 2020.
The creation of this new space is part of the process of regulatory review and simplification carried out by the Customs Collection and Control Agency, created by the Decree 953/2024 as an autonomous entity dependent on the Ministry of Economywith powers in tax and customs matters.
