What rate do the main banks pay today, Friday, October 24

Banks adjusted their interest rates for fixed terms in pesos this Friday, October 24. The BCRA published the options available to operate online.

This Friday, October 24, Argentine savers once again focus on safe placement instruments in pesos, which are the fixed term deposits.

In a context marked by rising inflation and the exchange rate that represents constant pressuremaintaining liquidity in pesos requires the search for rates that attempt to preserve some purchasing power.

The different banking entities adjust their proposals depending on the competition and the guidelines established by the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic (BCRA).

In this scenario, savers are attentive not only to the Annual Nominal Rate (TNA) offered, but also whether the entity accepts non-customers and the channel, whether online or in a branch. Current regulations enable the making of fixed terms online in banks where one is not a customer, which expands the alternatives and the possibility of finding better returns.

According to the BCRA survey, this Friday, October 24, some entities are once again offering returns for 30-day deposits that exceed 40% annually for clients and, in some cases, approach or exceed 50% for non-clients. Here are the numbers of the main banks:
