Magadan Region, Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Sakhalin Region, Nenets Autonomous Okrug became leaders in the Index of credit well-being of regions in 2021. Following them, Moscow, Yakutia, the Murmansk region, the Kamchatka Territory and Ingushetia entered the top ten. These are the data of the ForGO study, prepared according to the data of Rosstat and the Central Bank for 2021.
According to the authors, it was compiled on the basis of four indicators. Among them are the size of loans per capita, the level of wages, the minimum cost of living, as well as the debt load index.
The latter indicator is the result of dividing the total amount of loans by the product of the average monthly salary and the economically active population.
In total, the TOP included 35 Russian subjects. The second ten leading regions included St. Petersburg, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Krasnoyarsk Territory, Amur Region, Crimea, Irkutsk Region, Trans-Baikal Territory, Kemerovo Region, Sevastopol and Dagestan.
The third ten included the Khabarovsk Territory, Chechnya, the Jewish Autonomous Region, Komi, Chelyabinsk, Belgorod, Arkhangelsk, Tomsk Regions, Khakassia and Kursk Region.
Close the study Primorsky Krai, Astrakhan, Tula regions, Kabardino-Balkaria and Lipetsk region.
Experts consider the data logical, but expect changes in the rating in the near future due to Western sanctions and economic instability.
