There is a change at the top of the Gmundner Molkerei: Josef Fürtbauer resigns his position as chairman and his previous deputy, Johannes Trinkfass, takes over. This was announced today, Friday, by broadcast. “We are currently in a very crucial phase for our company. These questions about the future should be clarified by those who will then also be responsible,” says Josef Fürtbauer. With this statement he alludes to the fact that the Gmundner dairy is currently negotiating a merger with the Salzburger Alpenmilch Genossenschaft, as reported.
Fürtbauer worked as an official for 28 years and has led the farming cooperative with more than 2000 members since 2009. Successor Trinkfass is 43 years old and runs a farm with 60 dairy cows in Taufkirchen an der Trattnach. He has been an official since 2019 and deputy chairman since 2020.
