And they clarified that “in each category, the prices vary depending on other characteristics (such as age, if it has a garage, etc.) and its environment (infrastructure, availability of transport, proximity to shopping centers, among others). The values expressed above do not include expenses, which reach an average of 18% of the rental cost”.
As for the monthly increases, the increases with respect to February 2022 were 8.6% in studio apartments, 12.5% for those with two rooms and 8.9% in those with three rooms.
If the year-on-year increases are analyzed, the cost of renting a studio apartment in the Federal Capital increased 58.3%. In the apartments with two rooms, the increase was 60.7% and 75% in those with 3 rooms. On the other hand, the latest inflation data shows that, for the month of February, the year-on-year variation in prices was 52.3%.
Finally, the Index for Rental Contracts published daily by the BCRA shows a year-on-year increase of 51.7% on the first business day of March.
