Among the candidates: Floodprotect from Markus Niederdorfer (top photo) with the product of the same name for protection against flooding. The Redlham-based company developed a “wall in the ground” that protects against flooding while generating energy. Floodprotect submitted the application documents to Pegasus in the categories “Lighthouse” and “Innovation Emperor”.
Emovatec GmbH from St. Martin im Mühlkreis also applied with its owner Klaus Gahleitner in the Future Hope category. The company started out selling an electric walker throughout Austria, and now Emovatec has even opened its own mobility center.
The Pegasus is awarded in several categories: Lighthouse, Innovation Emperor, Success Stories, Hope for the Future. The prize for the “Entrepreneur/Manager of the Year” is also awarded. Submissions in several categories are possible.
