AFIP detected pension evasion and labor breaches in food courts of 15 shopping malls

The controls are added to the procedures carried out over the last three months by the different specialized areas of the AFIP in Costanera Norte, Nordelta, Puerto Madero and Palermo on taxpayers with a high tax capacity.

As part of the permanent tasks of control and supervision of compliance with tax and social security regulations, the agents of the AFIP Social Security Resources Directorate visited 25 gastronomic premises of shopping centers in which it was verified that the 50% of the registrations of the 158 workers presented inconsistencies. Underreporting gave rise to pension evasion.

The control and supervision actions allow to dismantle evasion maneuvers and protect the rights of the workers.

Controls in Costanera Norte, Nordelta, Puerto Madero and Palermo

Previously, the AFIP had already carried out controls in North Coastalwhere minutes were drawn up for infractions of billing regulations in different establishments, in addition to the fact that 40% of the workers relieved were in an irregular situation.

On Nordelta, became operational in more than 216 commercial premises, including restaurants, bars, nautical nurseries and commercial premises. In the gastronomic sector alone, 70% of tax irregularities were found, with differences of up to 150% between observed and declared sales, while during a personnel survey, 50% of pension evasion was detected.

Meanwhile in Madero Port 150 gastronomic establishments were surveyed in which differences of up to 200% were observed between observed and declared sales, added to 25% of labor informality.

Meanwhile, the AFIP inspectors also surveyed 277 commercial premises of Palermo “SOHO” and Palermo “Hollywood”.
