AFIP gives more time to access the moratorium and debt forgiveness

As part of the measures to accompany the economic recovery stage, the Government promoted tax benefits contained in the Tax Relief Law.

The organization defined to give more time with the objective that more taxpayers can access the tools. The extension of the deadlines is provided for in General Resolution 5181, which will be published this Thursday in the Official Gazette.

The new deadline to access tax forgiveness will be from April 1 to 18. Debt forgiveness can be requested by entities and non-profit organizations such as neighborhood clubs, work and school cooperatives, popular libraries and community organizations.

It also covers debts of less than $100,000 from monotributistas and other small taxpayers, and from micro and small companies that have the MiPME Certificate.

To enter your request, you must go to the AFIP website, within the service “Debt forgiveness – Title I – Law 27,653” with fiscal key security level 3.

In the event that the AFIP detects inconsistencies or the lack of any of the necessary requirements to access the benefit, the taxpayers may express their disagreement until April 18.

Moratorium

Adherence to the regularization plan is enabled until April 29. The payment facility plan allows you to request the benefit for tax, customs or social security debts, including interest, fines and other related firm sanctions, due on August 31, 2021.

Compliant taxpayers

Compliant taxpayers will have until April 18 to access the different benefits established in the tax relief law. The monotributistas will be able to access the exemption of the tax component of the monthly payment that will be made from the fiscal period May 2022.
