Regarding the pre-selection criteria, the Committee established that, for the critical and non-critical sectors, as well as for the Emergency Assistance Program for Independent Workers in Critical Sectors, the billing registered in February 2019 will be taken and the same month this year, and the difference must give at least a drop of 30% in real terms and an increase of no more than 125.5% in nominal terms.
These same parameters will be used for the Extraordinary Assistance Program for the Hotel Sector in Affected Tourist Areas and Localities.
That same comparison period will be used in the health sector, although the billing difference must give at least a variation of 0% in real terms, and at most an increase of 221.9% in nominal terms.
On the other hand, the Committee highlighted that “considering the information on the evolution of the productive and labor situation, there are no relevant reasons that justify the introduction of changes to the set of parameters and access conditions, defined for the previous month.”
Consequently, it considered that it is necessary to “maintain for March, the same parameters and access conditions established for February, with the exception of the variation of VAT purchases, which should be updated with the same nominal variation as that established for the billing indicator of the sectors respective”.
Thus, the variation in sales VAT billing should be less than 125.5% for the affected critical, non-critical and hotel sectors (it was 123.5% in March) and 221.9% for health effectors (it was 219.1%).
Meanwhile, the amounts of assistance for workers in companies in critical sectors remain at $22,000, the same amount as for health and for the Emergency Assistance Program for Independent Workers in Critical Sectors and the Program of Extraordinary Assistance to the Hotel Sector in Affected Tourist Zones and Localities, and in $9,000 to the non-critical affected.
