In the latter case, the increase in electricity, gas and water rates recorded in most regions had an impact. In turn, in the Home equipment and maintenance division (4.4%) the increase in domestic services was impacted by the increase fixed in parity.
Another category to highlight is Food, which rose 7.2%, also above the general level of consumer prices.

Regulated prices
Between the regulated prices, the increase in cigarettes stood out, which had an impact on the Alcoholic beverages and tobacco division (5.7%); the share of prepaid medicine, within Health (5.0%); fuels, in Transport (5.5%); and the mobile telephony service, within Communications (3.4%).
At the category level, Regulated (8.4%) was the one with the largest increase in March –on average, it contributed 1.5 percentage points between the regions–. It was followed in importance by the Core CPI (6.4%), while Seasonal ones registered an increase of 6.2%, mainly driven by the rise in Clothing and footwear.
