CNH tops dividend

The Steyr tractor mother CNH Industrial achieved sales of 33.4 billion dollars last year. That corresponds to an increase of 28 percent compared to 2020. In 2019, before the outbreak of the pandemic, sales were $28 billion. However, the turnover still includes the subsidiary Iveco, from which CNH separated at the end of last year.

The shareholders are to receive a dividend of EUR 0.28 per share certificate, compared to eleven cents the year before.

CNH has been publicly traded in Milan and on Wall Street since the Iveco spin-off. The two companies expect the spin-off to play a more active role in the ongoing consolidation of the industry. CNH intends to focus on the agricultural and construction equipment business, while Iveco will retain the truck, bus, specialty vehicle and military vehicle businesses. Iveco is one of the most important European truck manufacturers. 500 people are employed at the CNH Austria location in St. Valentin. The European headquarters of the Steyr tractor group is located there. Steyr and Case IH tractors with up to 300 hp are produced in the factory.
