Labor clarified that the benefit reaches all employers in the private sector, except those who “receive subsidies from the National State and from Provinces and Municipalities” or they have “started its activity six months prior to its request”.

Meanwhile, the number of employers that the Repro will cover will be determined “considering the number of applicants, their economic, patrimonial and financial situation, the action plan to achieve economic, productive and labor recovery, the prevailing conditions of the national economy and the allocated budget.”

To manage the Repro, you must enter the AFIP website, where those interested will have to “declare as a sworn statement that they comply with all labor, social and social security obligations in their charge”, in accordance with the Resolution.

It will also be necessary to present a balance sheet corresponding to the last closed fiscal year, show the economic, financial and patrimonial status of the company, demonstrate the invoiced sales and prepare an economic, productive and labor recovery plan, among other requirements.

Applicants must “facing a critical economic situation according to the evaluation of a set of equity, financial, economic and parameter indicators, and not having made a reduction in personnel greater than 20% in the interannual comparison.”

The Repro Program was created in September 2018 and Repro II in November 2020, the latter in the context of the economic crisis and health emergency resulting from the Covid 19 pandemic.

The Casa Rosada justified the modifications to the program by pointing out that “in the current context of the national economy, various indicators are evident that account for a process of reactivation of economic activity and employment.”

“Given the experiences passed through the Productive Recovery Program (Repro) and the Repro II Program, and the current context, it is pertinent to carry out a reformulation and merger of both programs into a new one that meets the expectations of the current economy and can meet the situation of companies or sectors that may go through a critical situation as a result of their own activity or external factors that cause it,” he added.
