Likewise, in Resolution 271/2022, the Secretary of Energy will extend until December 31 the Temporary Economic Assistance of 20% for producers, fractionators and distributors of bottled gasas a mechanism to maintain an accessible price for those who use bottles.

The Home Program guarantees access to bottles to almost three million homes, dining rooms, picnic areas, neighborhood clubs and public welfare entities who need it most, and cannot access the natural gas network.

To access it is a requirement not to have a natural gas service in the name of any member of the family group and to have monthly income of up to two minimum vital and mobile wages, among other conditions.

Who is the Home Program for?

  • To those people who do not have natural gas service at home and whose monthly income is up to 2 minimum vital and mobile wages.
  • To those who live with a disabled family member and their monthly income is up to 3 minimum vital and mobile wages.
  • To the inhabitants of Patagonia with monthly income of up to 2.8 minimum vital and mobile wages, or with a disabled family member with income of up to 4.2 minimum vital and mobile wages.

How to access subsidized gas

  1. Check if your data and those of your family group are registered in MiAnses, entering with the Social Security Code. If you are not yet enrolled in the program, you can do it from within the MiAnses application:
  2. Go to Programs and Benefits in the menu on the left, and click on “Social Rate Request”.
  3. Once you accept and complete the contact information, they will send a code to your phone that you will have to enter to validate your number.
  4. Remember to verify that your information is correct. ANSES checks your zip code to show you the services you have available according to your location.
  5. Once you select the Home Program, you must answer a survey with a series of questions about your personal/family situation.
  6. After confirming your personal data, your request will be sent to ANSES.
  7. The agency will respond to your request between 20 and 35 days after it was sent. You can check the status of your application on the ANSES website

If you and your family group are already registered in ANSES, accreditation is automatic through:

Deposit of the subsidy in the bank account or mouth of the Argentine Post Office in which you usually collect the ANSES benefit.

If you do not receive any other benefit from ANSES and you do not have an accredited bank account: They will create a bank account for you or automatically assign you an Argentine Post Office payment gateway.
