Enrollment extended for the knowledge economy promotion program

The Program aims to promote the formation and consolidation of groups of public and private companies dedicated to the production of goods and services of the Knowledge Economy with a federal criterionto promote the development of regional economies.

Provinces and municipalities (or state, provincial and municipal agencies or companies) can participate, as well as non-profit legal entities from the private sector that group companies dedicated to the production of goods and services based on the activities promoted by the Knowledge Economy Law. , and have among their purposes the promotion of economic development, productive innovation, business associativity or technological linkage.

The projects are evaluated, among other aspects, according to the contribution to regional economic development, which include companies registered in the Regime for the Promotion of the Knowledge Economy, and weighting those that have companies led by women.

In the first call, in 2021, Productive Development allocated $950 million to accompany the development of 65 nodes, which received a maximum of $20 million in ANR per project; while in this second that figure is doubled to $40 million.
