Even before the printed version of the 2022/23 course book appears, the courses have been bookable online (wifi.at/ooe) since May 2nd.
This year, Wifi is focusing on “green jobs”, i.e. jobs in the environmental sector. New training and further education courses are offered, for example, in the IT sector and in technical trades. These include, for example, training in the areas of photovoltaics as well as hybrid and electric mobility.
“We offer around 40 percent of what we offer in the twelve regional WiFi training centers,” says institute director Harald Wolfslehner. The offer is a mix of online and face-to-face teaching: There are purely online courses, but also different mixed forms of face-to-face and online learning.
help for refugees
Wifi offers free German courses for Ukrainian refugees at nine locations (Bad Ischl, Braunau, Gmunden, Grieskirchen, Linz, Perg, Ried, Steyr and Wels). The aim is to convey a basic vocabulary.
