The average production of the Recôncavo Pole in 2021 was approximately 2,932 barrels of oil per day (bbl/d) and 466 thousand cubic meters of gas per day, and includes the Candeias field, the oldest in Brazil that began the history of oil exploration and production in that country in 1941.

“Our technical knowledge on the operation and maintenance of deposits in mature basins is an added value, and adding the Recôncavo Pole allows us to obtain great synergies with the Rio Ventura Pole, which we also operate and maintain,” he said. Javier Gremes Cordero, CEO of Pecom.

Pecom’s work in Brazil extends, in addition to operation and maintenance services, to the marketing of deep-sea pumps for oil production.

In addition, the firm is starting chemical treatment activities for oil and gas in Brazil with products developed by its Research and Development department according to the needs of each region.

Pecom is part of the Pérez Companc Group, and is a services, construction and products company focused on the energy (gas, oil and electricity) and mining markets that explores new markets and opportunities.
