In the document, the Organization acknowledges that SMEs are at the forefront of economic recovery post quarantine. So, through the program, it seeks to provide them online training to adopt the use of digital technologies and tools.
“For accelerate digital transformation, innovation and sustainable solutions for SMEs and startups in the tourism sectorwe will encourage alliances with companies of technology global, such as MasterCard, Cisco, Amadeus, Telefónica, Meta, Airbnb and other key partners,” the text announced.

The official presentation of the UNWTO Digital Futures Program will be held on the 17th of this month in Madrid by its Secretary General, Zurab Pololikashviliwho will be accompanied by Natalie BayonneDirector of Innovation, Education and Investments of the Organization.
The launch will include presentations by the directors and a round table with representatives of the aforementioned entities and other technological partnersin addition to government delegates.
