Prior to this presentation, Pablo González and the YPF representatives held a work agenda with the vice president of the Council of the Americas, Eric Farnsworth; and deputies from different political parties. They also met with Harry Kamian, deputy secretary of the National Office of Energy Resources.
YPF presented the investment prospects that are opening up in the country based on the results obtained by the company, especially in Vaca Muerta. The production of unconventional crude showed a growth of 52% while the production of unconventional gas increased by 140% when comparing the first quarter of the year with the same period of the previous year.
Also, the energy transition agenda and YPF’s plans to promote the reduction of emissions by achieving efficiencies in the production of hydrocarbons and promoting the production of renewables through YPF Luz and Y-TEC were addressed.
