Scented candles are available with a large number of scents. But a candle with the smell of meatballs? This candle is available from Ikea – but only in the USA.
Lavender, vanilla, orange – these are more typical scents of scented candles. In the USA, however, some can look forward to an extraordinary scented candle: one with the smell of Swedish meatballs, the Köttbullar.
The candle comes – how could it be otherwise – from Ikea, where the Köttbullar is practically the national dish. The scented candle is to be available in a gift box as part of the tenth anniversary of the Ikea Family Program in the USA. The candle with the name “Huvudroll” is to be given away with other products that are reminiscent of the Ikea furniture stores, as the magazine reports.
The boxes would be “a surprise and delight item containing the best, recognizable pieces from an Ikea store,” a spokesman for the furniture chain told the magazine.
If you want such a candle from the US customers, you have to register for a competition. Almost 1000 people should be able to win such a box and another 2000 only the Köttbullar candle.
