Hardly any other industry needs well-trained specialists as urgently as in the care sector. Austria needs 76,000 additional nursing staff by 2030. The federal government announced these figures last week.
There will be an opportunity to find out more about the many possibilities in this area next week: Because on Tuesday, May 24th, the “PflegeKompass Messe”, the trade fair for the care sector, will take place in the Upper Austrian News Forum in the Promenaden Galleries in Linz. The OÖN are media partners. Throughout the day, experts present perspectives for training, studies, further education and career start in lectures. There is also the opportunity to get to know potential employers and to make initial contacts at the exhibition stands.
Lectures and round tables
From 9 a.m., there will be information at lectures and round tables, for example about training and further education in the Order Clinic Linz (9.15 a.m. to 9.45 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. to 1.30 p.m.), about interesting facts about studying health and nursing in Upper Austria (10 a.m. to 10.30 a.m.), about the training offers of the schools for health and nursing in the Upper Austrian Health Holding (10.30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. to 2 p.m.) as well as career opportunities in the nursing assistant (11 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. and 2 to 2.30 p.m.).
