Of the total funds available, the World Bank will contribute US$400 million; the National State, US$100 million; and the private sector, US$50 million, which will be used for the economic recovery of agri-food systemsthrough climate-smart practices for the agro-bio-industrial development of Argentina.
Schwartz explained that they aim to “assist the populations, so that they have a better environmental sustainable development, for small farmers, and for an inclusive development in the country, as well as improve food security.”
Domínguez stressed that the financing gives “confidence to continue working” and allows “the productive capacity of the land and the people to develop.”
“We put the accent on the producer, if the producer does not work, there is no chain that will grow, we reaffirm public policies to strengthen the capacities of producers, it is a chain strategy for the Argentine Republic to grow,” he added.
The person in charge of the rural portfolio remarked that “this loan is a sign of great confidence, with very favorable conditions, which means that the financial system trusts the capacities of the provinces and the country.”

“This is a scheme that gives us encouragement and allows us to access low-interest credit in the provinces and that serves to produce projects and respond to the concerns and needs of producers,” emphasized the Santiago president.
At the same time, he stressed that “this will strengthen production strategies and look for new markets to develop important programs, as well as coordinate efforts for important exportable quotas, to encourage the different sectors.”
Captainich valued the accompaniment of the Nation and the World Bank by emphasizing that “this is a contribution that guarantees strengthening the roots of the land and sustainable economic development and also in infrastructure of other areas such as energy, and thus also enhance the production capacity” of each of the provinces in the region.
Subsequently, the ordinary meeting of the Federal Agricultural Council was held, whose agenda is international cooperation, connectivity, cooperative plan and good agricultural practices.
