Unit repair times have been reduced six to four months for the implementation of a parts distribution plan between the different national workshops, which allowed taking advantage of the specific operation for the assignment of modules to be repaired, highlighted a statement.

Currently, and under this modality, two more teams are being worked on that were out of service.

With the closure of May, TAC had already exceeded, so far this year, the cargo record reached with 3 million tons transported, which represented 71% more than in 2019 considering the same period.

This was possible, at the peak of the agricultural harvest, due to the enlistment of locomotives 9707, 9735 and 9738, which will aim to provide a greater response to the demands of the line.

In the same vein, TAC presented a few days ago, during an event in the Cordoban town of San Francisco, the first 10 containers built with national labor, out of a total of 90 units, which will be manufactured to respond to the rail transport of products agricultural.

In this way, and with an investment of $110 million, the first results of the project for which they were designed and manufactured in the workshops of María Juana (Santa Fe) and Baco (Buenos Aires) have already crystallized.

These are units made of sheet steel, with continuous loading gates and six gravity unloading gates that allow them to be mounted on platform wagons which, having standardized measurements, can be easily coupled to trucks, promoting multimodality.
