The Pilot Plant for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (IFAs) seeks to generate national production capacities for drugs of high health and economic value, an initiative that is part of the import substitution strategy.
The plant will be able to develop competitive processes to be transferred to the private sector, in addition to complementing the capabilities of the science and technology sector for the development of new drugs.
The Institute focuses its work on the development of large companies, SMEs and entrepreneurs.
