Be creative instead of alone in the co-working space

A co-working space is understood to mean premises that are used jointly by employees from different companies or separate offices that are set up by companies away from the headquarters. Companies often do without their own infrastructure and rent from a provider for a monthly fee. According to a directory, there are already 60 such co-working spaces in Upper Austria, according to a press release from the Information and Consulting (IC) division of the Upper Austrian Chamber of Commerce. These can be found at www.wko.at/branchen/ooe/information-consulting/Co-Working.html.

“In co-working there is above all the opportunity for new cooperation, new knowledge clusters and competence networks to emerge,” says Christoph Schumacher, chairman of the IC division.

According to a study by the consulting company EY, half of the employees in Austria are interested in using such shared offices.
