The German stock exchange barometer increased by 1.01 percent to 13,400.01 points at lunchtime. The MDax for medium-sized stocks gained 0.92 percent to 27,736.59 points, and gains were also posted across Europe.

Individual companies were primarily targeted with negative news. Nordex’s paper fell by almost 8 percent. The wind turbine manufacturer, which was flown out of the SDax the day before because of the delayed figures, started the year 2022 with “surprisingly high losses” according to dealers. The adjusted operating result before realignment costs (Ebitda), which had been positive in the previous year, also slipped into the red . Nordex had to postpone the presentation of the figures for the first quarter due to a cyber security incident.

The Frankfurt online broker Flatexdegiro expects a decline in customer activity this year in view of the latest business development. The stock reacted with losses of 5.0 percent.

The shares of Fuchs Petrolub also increased by 2.4 percent. The lubricant manufacturer intends to purchase its own shares for up to EUR 200 million over a period of around two years, which will then be cancelled. You want to start with the buyback on June 27th. The timing is good: a week ago, the paper fell to its lowest level since 2012.
