Differentiated changes according to the monotax category
If the project is approved in the Upper House, the billing limits will be increased. Also lower categories A through D will increase the billing limit more than higher categories. The changes will have a positive impact on the economic situation of 4,498,419 monotributistas.
The maximum amount of the first categories of the monotax will increase 60% while, in the first two, the payment of the tax component was eliminated. In this way, the measure will not include an increase in the monthly fees to be paid, but only an update of the maximum billing limits is sought so that the monotributistas do not have to jump to a larger scale.
To add progressivity to the measurement, the benefit will only be for those monotributistas who do not have other income by way of collecting pensions, employment in a dependency relationship, financial income or rental of real estate.
