Wages increased 5% in April and lost again against inflation

For its part, the registered private sector had an increase in April of 5.6%, with an accumulated figure for the year of 21% and a year-on-year variation of 57.7%. In the first quarter of 2022, registered private workers and public workers “lost the equivalent of 70% of an average monthly salary in 2017”expanded Argañaraz and confirmed that as for the informal, “they are the ones who lose the most with inflation, they lost the equivalent of 90% of a monthly salary”.
