The decision is provided for in General Resolution 5223/2022, which is published this Monday in the Official Gazette.
On the other hand, the AFIP, together with the provinces of Chaco and Catamarca, launch the unified monotax. The tool facilitates and simplifies compliance tasks through more than 80,000 small taxpayers from Chaco and 30,000 monotributistas from Catamarca.
The incorporation of Chaco and Catamarca to the mechanism raises the number of provinces that adhered to the unified monotax to 12. Over the last few years, Buenos Aires, Salta, Santa Cruz, Córdoba, San Juan, Mendoza, Entre Ríos, Río Negro, Jujuy and Neuquén have been incorporated.
The number of monotributistas that currently pay their national and provincial taxes in a unified way amounts to more than 1,600,000, among all jurisdictions.
With the signing of the agreements with the Catamarca Collection Agency (ARCA) and the Provincial Tax Administration of Chaco (ATP)the monotributistas who have their fiscal domicile located in any of these provinces will be able to unify in a single operation the payment of the monotax quota and the provincial gross income tax, which reduces the administrative burden.
