By sectors, the sector that has increased its production level the most was Bodywork, trailers and semi-trailers (+18.4%), while the heading Other metal products reflected a rise of 13.6%, and Medical equipment an advance of 12.4%, all above the general average.
Meanwhile, the Auto Parts (+6.1%) and Capital Goods (+8.6%) sectors were below the average.
“The Agricultural Machinery sector (+9.2%) registered an increase below the average, but remains above the levels of 2019 and exceeds the level of production registered in 2018”, they pointed out from Adimra.
By provinces, a general increase was revealed, especially in Santa Fe and Entre Ríos, with growth of 14.5% and 16.1%, respectively.
The province of Mendoza (+12.7%) continues to recover its level of production, and in the case of Córdoba, with an increase of 11.0% “the province once again registered a strong increase in year-on-year terms, but below the average”.
“Regarding the activity in the province of Buenos Aires (including CABA), the activity presented an increase of 9.3% compared to May 2021, as a result of an increase of 8.9% in the AMBA and 11.7 % in the interior of the province”, they pointed out from Adimra.
For its part, according to the business entity, employment in May presented an increase of 3.4% in relation to the same month of 2021.
In relation to the expectations of the sector, the report shows that “43% of businessmen foresee an increase in their production in the next 3 months”.
